3D modelling, built * for the printer
A beautiful render can still be unprintable. Our modellers design with wall thickness, overhangs and shrinkage in mind from the first sketch — so the file we hand you slices cleanly on any machine.
What the service entails
From idea to watertight CAD
Bring a sketch, a photo, a broken part or just a description. We model it parametrically (so dimensions stay editable), verify it against your tolerances, and deliver print-ready STL plus STEP source files you own outright.
- Parametric CAD modelling with editable dimensions
- Organic sculpting for figurines, jewellery and art pieces
- Reverse-engineering from scans or physical samples
- Printability audit: walls, tolerances, split lines, supports
Capabilities
How a modelling order runs
Brief & references
You send sketches, photos, dimensions or the broken original. We confirm scope and a fixed price.
First geometry
Within days you receive screenshots and a 3D viewer link for markup — two revision rounds included.
Print validation
We test-slice the model, check every tolerance, and print a proof piece for fit-critical parts.
Source handover
You receive STL, STEP and renders. The design is yours — print with us or anywhere.
Questions
Modelling FAQs
Anything you have: a sketch with key dimensions is ideal, but photos, reference links or the physical part work too. If critical dimensions are missing, we measure from your sample or propose sensible defaults for approval.
Yes — full ownership transfers on final payment, including editable STEP sources, not just the STL. You can print, modify or manufacture from the files anywhere, with no royalties.
Simple functional parts take 2–4 working days; sculpted or multi-part assemblies usually 1–3 weeks including revisions. You get a dated schedule before we begin, and rush slots are available.
