What we do

3D for science and technology

Laboratories, classrooms and R&D teams rely on us for dimensionally accurate parts — jigs, enclosures, anatomical models and one-off research fixtures, documented and repeatable.

  • Tolerance-checked prints, verified against your spec sheet
  • Biocompatible and heat-resistant material options
  • Batch runs with per-part inspection reports

Our enclosure prototypes used to take three weeks and two suppliers. Inkwell Press Works turned the first revision in four days, flagged a wall-thickness issue we had missed, and the second revision snapped together perfectly.

The finish quality is the real surprise — clients assume our demo units are injection-moulded. They are not. They are printed, sanded and coated in this studio.

We send over massing models at 1:500 and get back crisp, clean minis that survive client handling. Windows read, stairs read, even the tiny railings survive shipping. Nobody else prints this clean at this scale.

File repair alone is worth it — they fixed seventeen non-manifold edges on our first upload before I had finished my coffee.

Custom pipette racks, sensor housings, a replacement centrifuge latch the manufacturer had discontinued — the studio has printed all of it to tolerance, with inspection notes attached to every batch.

For a research lab, that documentation matters as much as the part. Ordering the next batch takes one email.
