Printed in parts, delivered * as one

Big objects don't fit on one print bed — and small mechanisms need many pieces. Our assembly bench joins, threads and fits multi-part prints into tested working units, often within 72 hours.

What the service entails

An assembly bench, not a glue stick

We design the joints before we print: solvent welding, heat-set inserts, captive nuts, printed hinges and snap fits — chosen per part, per load. Every assembly is function-tested and photographed before it ships.

  • Split-line engineering for oversized models and sculptures
  • Threaded inserts, hinges, ball joints and moving mechanisms
  • Electronics integration: LEDs, mounts and cable channels
  • Function test + photo report with every assembled unit

Capabilities

From parts to working unit

01

Joint planning

We decide split lines and fasteners up front, so seams land where they are invisible or structural.

02

Parallel printing

Parts run across several machines at once — a 40-piece build prints in the time of five.

03

Bench assembly

Welding, inserts, wiring and fitting by technicians who build mechanisms daily.

04

Test & crate

Movement, fit and finish tested, then crated in custom cushioning for safe transit.

Questions

Assembly FAQs

Our largest assembled sculpture to date stands 1.8 metres tall, built from 60+ sections. Practical limits are shipping and handling, not printing — we crate anything that fits through a door.

Split lines are placed along natural edges wherever possible, then welded, filled and sanded. With our Perfect Quality finish, most clients cannot find the seams even when we point at them.

Yes — LED lighting, small motors, sensors and battery compartments are routine. We design cable channels and access panels into the print, wire everything on the bench and ship it working.
